Rasoir droit Dovo Inox 5/8 en acier inoxydable et bois d'olivier

Being a newcomer to straight-razor shaving, I did some research and ended-up buying the Dovo Inox 5/8 here from The Classic Edge Shaving after looking around for a supplier that would get it "Shave Ready" since from what I have read, Dovo is known for advertising their razors as ready for shaving but really, most of the time they are not. The feedbacks and the reputation of this store here made me pull the trigger and how was I right to do so. The blade indeed was masterfully honed and Shave Ready, and even as a newbie to SR shaving, I was able to get a very close and comfortable shaving for the first time. Jane and Phil are very helpful and they guided me to buy the correct accessories to maintain my new purchase plus their listings are definitely at a competitive price and of great value (add to that a great customer service!).
I will definitely be coming back here for my other purchases and their insightful knowledge of the items they sell.
My new A to Z store for my shaving needs without a doubt.

This is my second straight razor from Phil....I have to say it is an absolute dream to shave with and good looking as well.
The quality and craftsmanship is by far amazing and the fact that it comes TRULY shave ready is a bonus!!!!

The Dovo Inox Stainless Steel Olivewood razor is a beautifully crafted straight razor. While I am new to straight razor shaving, I have an appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into this blade. The wood grain scales give the razor its own unique personality and the quality of the blade provides for a high quality shave.

I was hesitant to spend a large sum on a razor, but I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the customer service is second to non.

I bought this razor and several other products for my boyfriend for our anniversary & the razor is just as gorgeous as in the pictures. I can't speak from personal experience, but according to my boyfriend (who just switched to straight shaving with this razor), he says it gives him the best shave he has ever had.

Not to mention, the customer service is extraordinary! I ordered this item late (only a week before our anniversay), and I got an email the very next day away letting me know that although it usually takes 3-4 days to sharpen the razor/send it out, they'd try to rush it to get it to me in time for my anniversary. And wouldn't you know it, they sent it out the next day! I ended up getting the razor a day early, which is absolutely fantastic considering it needed to go through customs. I am touched that they went the extra mile to get my order here on time.

I am impressed with the quality of the products received but even more so with the quality of the customer service.
