Well I was in one of those moods to blow a small fortune on a new shaving experience. My biggest dilemma was not so much on the price but rather the aggressiveness. Eventually I chose the medium for aggressiveness along with an assortment of blades. Also splurged on the $89 bowl and a few other accessories. Everything arrived today with a cute personalized sticky note from Classic Edge Shaving (really made me feel that they appreciated my business). Unpacked everything and heated up some water for in the bowl. Loaded the razor with one of the Henson brand blades. Haven't used a safety razor in years, so had the roll of toilet tissues on the ready lol. After soaking the brush in the hot water and letting the bowl heat up, I mixed up some hot lather and covered my face. What a warm and relaxing experience. I began shaving and could not believe how effortless it was. Not one nick in the whole process. Not only that, but pretty much got a perfect shave on the first pass. While the aluminum version would have probably been just as satisfying, I really like the premium feel and quality of the titanium. Don't have any kids that might inherit this from me, but definitely do not regret spoiling myself. Beyond the satisfaction of the razor and the accessories, I also have been very happy with the experience of shopping with 'Classic Edge Shaving'. I did have to call today for 1 question and the lady (who I suspect wrote the sticky note lol) was helpful and very pleasant.
