Rasoir de sûreté à double tranchant Edwin Jagger - Chrome

This was my first venture into the world of wet shaving, I purchased this as part if the start up kit on this website just before christmas. I previously was using a gillette fusion power razor with like a million blades on it and the vibrating handle etc etc. I had a rough first week... Lots of razor burn, lots of irritation... Read some forums (badger and blade) learned that it was entirely my fault, switched to feather blades and LOVE how it shaves now. It's a hefty razor and it feels really solidly built. It feels like I'm shaving the way it was meant to be done and it's no longer a chore. I must say, it requires a great deal more care and time than my gillette fusion power (especially under the jawline) BUT the shave is MUCH closer and you look forward to it every morning.

I remember using an old aluminum safety razor when I first began shaving may years ago and it was not enjoyable.
I hadn't even looked at a safety razor until now with the Edwin Jagger DE89.

Perform your usual face prep, drop in a fresh blade and proceed to be pleasantly surprised with the smoothness of the shave you'll be provided with this razor. Unbelievable!

On mornings when you just don't feel like stropping your straight razor or perhaps you're running late, it's nice to know that this razor will deliver the goods.
