First off, I had one of these razors but not from Classic Edge. Looks nice, good weight, decent shave. About 2 years old internal spring broke. I've had simpler DE's that have lasted way longer. Maybe over designed?

What else have I been missing out on in my life?

Used this razor for the first time two days ago. Whoa! Previous razors were Mach 3s or an electric shaver. Almost zero irritation on my neck after my first shave. Something that isn't an easy task for my hair type. The learning curve of using a razor blade made my first shave much slower with this razor but, it also shaved closer and smoother. Had a few nicks while shaving.

Using the razor on the #1 setting for the first shave. Eyeballing I can't tell the difference between 1 and 6. Is 1 most aggressive or is 6?

Really like the brushed chrome finish and the weight of the razor. Glad I went with the long handle version. Shipping wasn't the fastest though.

I ordered this razor a few weeks back and have been incredibly impressed with it. It feels so solid and balanced in my hand and for the first time in my life outside of a barber shop with a true straight razor (before they were forced to use safety blades in a straight handle) I was able to shave without razor burn. I have extremely sensitive skin with a fast growing beard which grows in many directions. Just getting a close shave has always been a challenge, but to get a close shave with no burning is incredible to me. I very much enjoy the luxury of my new badger brush and other products that are used with this type of luxurious shaving. I still have a lot to learn to get the most out of this razor, but I am getting there. Thank you so much for carrying such a great product, for the great range of supporting products and your company's prompt service. I would not hesitate to recommend both this product and your store.

Yes! This is my re introduction to Double Edge blade shaving and I am truly impressed. Fine german craftsmanship and beautiful design for weight and balance. Adjustable in a very simple manner. The resulting shave was smooth and close. I wish I could say nick free but my technique is still amateur.

Do yourself a favor and get this fine razor. Over the years it will prove to be a great investment.

So far the only Safety Razor out there that I can shave up against the grain without causing in grown hairs. Perfect in every way and due to the weight the razor shaves by itself, takes the work out of it. Very happy with this purchase. Also i was surprised with how fast the delivery was to the USA.
