We always are on the lookout for new products that make your life easier. We have tested several products looking for the perfect oil to protect your Straight Razor. We've tied mineral oil, clock oil, sewing machine oil, gun oil and the list goes on. Paraffin Oil was always the first choice, but it was always too thick and would bead up. After dealing with more suppliers than I can count I finally found the perfect Paraffin Oil which is Extra-Thin.

What does this mean? Just a few drops on either side of your Straight Razor or Knife will cover the entire blade and tang, but best of all it stays put and is much easier to remove before shaving. Another bonus that I never expected was that if you buff the blade with a paper towel or tissue paper it will bring a high luster to the metal and still protect the Carbon Steel. The needle applicator prevents too much oil from coming out all at once and makes it easy to get in between the scales at the pivot pin. This oil will last you for years! We recommend this product and your first choice for Straight Razor maintenance. Easily the most Sanitary product available.
