Naniwa Super Water Stone 12,000 Grit, Extra Thick

This is a nice stone to have in your stone collection. While I do have a Naniwa 10K stone which by the way is a great stone to work with, I decided to add this Naniwa 12K to my collection for a bit more detail when refreshing my straight razors. I used this stone for the first time this week, it's a little harder than the 10k and also took a little longer to true this sore for it's first use but that was expected. I decided to put the 12K through it's first test by refreshing 4 plates 3 of which were TI blades and the 4th being a Boker blade. All 4 blades had some good feed back while honing on this stone. End result on all 4 blades ended up with a great finish on the edges with a very clean highly polished edge. This stone is worth the $115.00 if you wish to add that extra edge to your shave.
